Enjoy a Tie Dye Party at Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano on Saturday May 20th from 1:00 to 2:30.   Participants can bring their own items to be dyed (dye will cover approximately 3 to 6 t-shirts) and are encouraged to bring items that may have stains and need to be given a new life.  Cost includes all materials including one white t-shirt, instructions and admission to the farm.  Cost is $20.  Please send an email to [email protected] for registration along with shirt size.

Any new fabrics need to be washed prior to dying.  Cotton works best.

We will be returning to Colorpalooza this year.  We had such a great time and met so many wonderful people who were interested in the things they can do to live more sustainably.  The Recycle Rainbow will be there for everyone to build the mural.  We will also be fundraising by selling plants, grow your own garden kits, upcycled plant hangers, magnets made from bottle caps and upcycled letter tile jewelry.  Come see us in eco-alley.

We are so excited to announce that the Recycle Rainbow will be back.  We will be at Colorpalooza in Lewisville on Saturday April 23rd 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Old Town Lewisville.  Come see us!

We will be selling plants at the Plano Parking Lot sale on Saturday May 15th, at 1717 Spring Creek (Spring Creek and Avenue K - 1 block east of 75).  We will be featuring decorative herb gardens and cute critter planters as well as other herbs, vegetables and ornamentals.  Sale is from 8 am to 5 pm.  As usual plant sales benefit our non-profit programs.
